On a rainy and windy evening that saw to the sauce bottles falling over, the Central Coast Mariners made easy work of Stallion Laguna FC in front of a brave 3,000 plus fans.  The end result saw the Mariners win by 9 goals to 1.

The Mariners started the game well, looking to make up for the loss in Game 1 in Malaysia.

The Mariners scored their first goal in the 6th minute when Dylan Wenzel-Halls tapped in after good lead-up work by Angel Torres.

Mikael Doka and Angel Torres were causing all sorts of trouble for the visitors, assisted by strong play by the yellow midfielders.  There were several chances including one for Wenzel-Halls that hit the left-hand upright.

In the 28th minute, the Mariners got their second when Doka crossed into the box that found and gave Tulio an easy flick in.

The two goal advantage did not last long and when the visitors scored off a corner, surprising the Mariners defence.

Just as it seemed that the teams would go into the dressing rooms at a score of 2-1, the Mariners finally got their timing perfect when Torres again got another asisst for Tulio to get his second goal just before half-time.

Mariners leading 3 goals to one at the break.

After the break, it was more of the same.  Wenzel-hals got his second in the 57th minute with Brian Kaltack scoring in the 63rd minute.

Alou Kuol came on as a substitute in 62nd minute and only took 7 minutes to score when a through ball found him in space and easily converting the opportunity make the score 6-1.

Further goals to Angel Torres and Josh Nisbet made the score 8-1.

To cap off an excellent game for the Mariners, Tulio got his hat-track in the second minute of extra time.

After two games, the win has the Mariners in 3rd place in their group after Bali United and Terenggany FC had a 1-all draw.
