Have you ever wanted to provide feedback to the governing body in relation to our football game?
Have you ever had an idea that you wanted to present to them about making improvements to the game that we love so much?
If so, now is your chance.
In conjunction with the Australian Professional League (APL) and the Central Coast Mariners (CCM), fans from all walks of life can now become involved in a new initiative called the Fan Representative Group (FRG).
The creation of the FRG is an initiative that involves all clubs including Canberra's Liberty A-League Women's team.
Each club is required to create a 10 person FRG group with the charter of representing fans from a cross-section of demographic groups. Examples of the representation would include but are not limited to:
- Under 25's
- Over 65's
- Families
- Membership holders
- Women's representation
- Culturally diverse groups
- LGBTIQA+ fans
- Local grassroots football organisations
- Fans with disabilities
- Fans who live outside the club's local area
Issues and suggestions from the FRG group that is established by CCM will be discussed by a national group, with resulting conversations to be provided to the APL for consideration.
The CCM Official Supporters Club (CCMOSC) is passing this information on to you, our members, so that you may consider becoming involved in CCM's FRG group.
