This is the first of hopefully many weekly updates that CCM Official Supporters Club can provide to fans, especially those that do not use social media.
These will be in the form of a weekly wrap-up of news and other activities leading into the 2026/2027 season.
The last week or two has been full of news, starting with the announcement of a new owner for the club. Total Soccer Group Holdings (TSG) being the successful new owner of the Mariners.

The other important news from a club level was the announcement of our new head coach, with fans reaction being extremely positive when John Hutchinson was announced in returning to the club in this capacity. John is returning to us after spending time coaching in the USA and Japan.

On further club news, an announcement was made that Australian-owned sporting apparel company Knoqa is now the Mariner's apparel and kit supplier. Fans may think that this name is familiar as they were the kit supplier for Canberra United last season.

Turning our attention to player signings, the following announcements (in order) have been made:
- Diesel Herrington has signed a two-year contract extension

There have also been announcements of player departures that include Nathan Paull, Miguel Di Pizio, Christian Theoharous, James Donachie, Sabit Ngor, Nathanael Blair, Will Kennedy, Logan Sambrook, Kaito Tanuguchi, Seth Clark and Jacob Nasso.
Lastly, details for the Mariners Australia Cup 2026 Round of 32 match have been released with our opponent being Sydney United 58 FC. The match will be played at Sydney United Sports Centre, Edensor Park. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30pm on Wednesday, 22nd July 2026.
